Parent and Teacher Support Questions

What is The Two-Teacher Lens?

We are a husband-and-wife team of educators who help parents and teachers look beyond the answer, notice the clues in a child's responses, and think more carefully about what may be getting in the way.  We share practical, evidence-informed ideas related to reading, math, learning struggles, and support at home and  in school.

How can AI be used responsibly?

We view AI as a behind-the-scenes support tool for parents and educators.  It can help explain a concept differently, generate questions, organize ideas, or help an adult prepare while the child still does the thinking, problem-solving, and learning.

What are the core educational focus areas?

Our main focus areas are reading, math, learning struggles, parent support, and responsible use of AI as a support tool.  We look for patterns and clues that may help parents and educators decide what to try next.

Are the resources evidence-informed?

Yes.  We aim to base our educational content on credible research, established educational practices, and reliable sources.  When evidence is limited or evolving, we believe it is important to say so clearly rather than present uncertain information as fact.

Where can I find your resources?

You can explore our latest articles, practical strategies, and educational resources through our website and blog.  We'll continue adding new content as The Two-Teacher Lens grows.

How can I access the library?

Our resource library is growing.  As new guides, checklists, and downloadable tools are added, you'll be able to find them throughout The Two-Teacher Lens website and blog.  Check back often for new resources for parents and educators.
